Hot-rolled steel sheet products are used in the
automotive industry in the manufacture of frames,
bumpers, wheels and some power train components.
In the construction industry, hot-rolled steel sheet
are used in the manufacturing of sheet piling and
guard rails. In the pipe and tube producing industry,
hot-rolled steel sheet, known as "skelp",
are used in the manufacturing of pipe and tubes.
Significant quantities of hot-rolled steel sheet
products are also consumed by non-automotive stampers,
steel fabricators and producers of agricultural
and other machinery
